Following cases are examples on how to implement IBEM (Identity, Belonging, Expression and Mission) when working with young people.

This case invites students to discuss how to become an accepted member of the class and how to be seen and heard.

This case invites students to discuss how emotions such as anger, aversion and hate can affect a classroom- culture and how students, teachers and schools can form a culture where these emotions can be expressed in a socially acceptable way.

This case invites students to discuss what students and their teachers could do to prevent demonization of difference and the polarization in ‘us and them’, that might have consequences for the feeling of belonging of the students:
